Composition
Each gram powder contains Trichlorfon USP 1 g.
Description
Ticofon Vet acts on the parasite nervous system as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, resulting in paralysis and death.

Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: External application.
Or as directed by a registered veterinary physician or fisheries expert.
Interaction
With medicine: Trichlorfon must not be administered together with neuroleptic drugs such as phenotiazines. With feed and food: It is completely forbidden for ingestion in animal & poultry.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to Ticofon Vet.
Side Effects
Common side effects: diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, CNS disorder, respiratory distress, blurred vision, tears, salivation, sweating, frequent urination, etc. Rare side effects: Paralysis and death.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Trichlorfon should be used in pregnant and lactating animals cautiously to avoid accidental ingestion of this drug.
Precautions & Warnings
Trichlorfon is moderately toxic by ingestion or dermal absorption. It is completely forbidden for ingestion in animals and poultry.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 1 day and Milk: duration not established.
