Composition
Each ml contains Difloxacin (as Hydrochloride Trihydrate) BP 100 mg.
Description
Acxin Vet contains difloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone bactericidal antibiotic. It acts by inhibiting the bacterial DNA gyrase enzyme, thereby preventing DNA synthesis and resulting in bacterial cell death.

Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral via drinking water.
Or as directed by the registered veterinarian.
Interaction
With medicine: Do not administer with Theophylline & products containing Aluminum, Iron, Zinc, Magnesium, or Calcium. With food & others: Not known
Contraindications
Contraindicated in birds hypersensitive to Difloxacin and birds with problems of Osteoporosis or Arthropathies.
Side Effects
Common gastrointestinal disturbance. Rare CNS depression, seizures, facial swelling, etc. are observed in high concentrations.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Safety in pregnancy and lactation has not been established.
Precautions & Warnings
Use cautiously in animals/birds with known joint problems.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
