Composition
Each bolus contains:
Cobalt sulphate PhGr 51546 mg.
Dried ferrous sulphate BP 100000 mg.
Thiamine nitrate BP (Vit B1) 25000 mg.
Cyanocobalamin BP (Vit B12) 20000 mcg.
Choline bitartrate USP 9100 mg.
Indications
Livestock:
Grumen-Vet is indicated as a supportive therapy in ruminant animals for simple indigestion and impaction.
The formulation ensures a faster recovery from indigestion, anorexia, inappetence, and impaction in ruminant animals while maintaining a normal appetite for food.
It is additionally effective as a supportive treatment for various infectious diseases when administered alongside prescribed antibiotics where anorexia is present as a symptom.
The product also ensures quicker fattening of ruminant animals when given with a balanced diet following anthelmintic treatment.
Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral
Cattle & Buffaloes: 2–3 boluses per day for 2–3 days (heavy weight animals: up to 4 boluses/day).
Or as prescribed by the registered veterinary doctor.
Interaction
Thiamine hydrochloride is incompatible with oxidizing and reducing substances, iodides, and carbonates. Destruction of thiamine hydrochloride in solution is accelerated by copper ions. Thiamine is incompatible with benzyl penicillin.
Contraindications
Grumen Vet Bolus should not be used in animals hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients.
Side Effects
There are no major side effects of this drug when used in the recommended dosage.
