Composition
Each ml contains Trimethoprim BP 80 mg and Sulphadiazine BP 400 mg.
Indications
Poultry:
ATIVET is indicated for the treatment of general infections of the respiratory, digestive, and urogenital tracts caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria as well as Mycoplasma.
The formulation is specifically used for conditions such as colibacillosis, secondary infections accompanying respiratory diseases, salmonellosis including Pullorum disease, fowl typhoid, pasteurellosis or fowl cholera, enteritis, and chronic respiratory disease (CRD).
It is especially indicated when other antibiotics and chemotherapeutics fail due to resistance.
Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: Oral
Poultry: 1 ml/5 L of drinking water daily for 4-6 days.
Fish: 1 ml/16 kg of fish daily or 30 mg/kg of fish with feed for 7-10 days.
Or as directed by an expert.
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C in a dry place. Protect from direct sunlight. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 5 days; Egg: Not for use in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.
