Each ml injection contains Meloxicam BP 20 mg and Paracetamol BP 150 mg.
Description
Action 3 Vet contains meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the oxicam family. It acts by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis, thereby exerting anti-inflammatory, anti-exudative, analgesic, and antipyretic properties, alongside anti-endotoxic properties. Paracetamol is an analgesic agent that reduces fever by depressing the heat-regulatory centers in the hypothalamus.

Dosage & Administration
Route of Administration: IM, SC, or IV injection.
Or as directed by the registered veterinarian.
Interaction
May cause increased likelihood of bleeding if use in conjunction with corticosteroids, heparin, warferin, aspirin, flunixin & phenylbutazone.
Side Effects
A slight transient swelling at the injection site following SC injection may be seen. Prolonged use may cause gastrointestinal lesions, inappetence, vomiting, and diarrhoea.
Pregnancy & Lactation
Not recommended for use in pregnant or lactating animals.
Precautions & Warnings
Do not administer concurrently with steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
Storage Conditions
Store below 30°C and keep the vial in the carton to protect it from light. Avoid freezing. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 15 days and Milk: 5 days must not be consumed after administration.
